Takedown Requests

At Connecticut PDFs, we are committed to fostering a respectful and law-abiding online environment. We understand the importance of intellectual property rights and are dedicated to ensuring that content on our site does not infringe upon those rights. If you believe that any material available on our website unlawfully infringes on your copyright or the rights of someone you represent, we encourage you to let us know. Our team takes such matters seriously and is prepared to take appropriate action, including removing the content from our site.

Submitting a Takedown Request

To submit a takedown request, please contact us via email at dmca@connecticutpdfs.com. Your email should provide a clear and concise description of the material that you believe infringes on your rights, along with sufficient detail that allows us to locate the material on our site. Additionally, your request must include the following:

  • Your full name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

Process Following a Takedown Request

Upon receiving a properly submitted takedown request, we will promptly review the material in question. If we determine that the material should be removed, we will take the necessary actions to do so and will also notify the individual or entity that posted the material on our site, providing them with your contact information so that they may have the opportunity to respond directly to your complaint.

Counter-Notification

If material you have posted has been taken down and you believe this takedown was mistaken or unjust, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must contain the following information:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Connecticut PDFs may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.

Please send your counter-notification to our designated email address, dmca@connecticutpdfs.com. Our team will review your submission and notify you of our decision regarding the reinstatement of the material at issue.
